9.2 Disinfection
The sentida 03 must be disinfected regularly, and at least before every change of resident. The
bed must not be disinfected in automatic washing units or with spray water.
Only disinfection agents may be used that correspond to the disinfection agents described in
appendix 1 of DIN 68861 part 1:
Phenol derivatives, 0.5-% aqueous solution:
Chlorinated alkyl arylphenol, cycloalkyl arylphenol
Chloramine T, 2.5-% aqueous solution: p-Toluol sulfone chloramide sodium
For disinfection of plastic and metal parts of the bed, we recommend the following detergents,
which can only be substituted by equal agents:
– Terralin,
– Perform,
– Sagrotan Med.
These agents may only be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
The wooden lining must not come into contact with these agents.
9.3 Maintenance of wooden parts
We have used materials of the highest quality to create a product with a high level of benefits
and homely natural wood character. Differences in tone, contrast and color between veneer
surfaces, solid wood parts or patterned surfaces (melamine, HPL), as well as growth-dependent
inclusions in natural wood materials, do not represent defects.
To clean wooden parts, a slightly damp, soft cloth is recommended.
