Warning!
Incorrectly positioned side guards can slide down and cause a fall of the patient or
resident. By shaking the side guard, make sure that it has clicked into the right po-
sition.
Warning!
Placing the side rails at an inclination does not provide suitable or sufficient protec-
tion from falling out of the bed.
Warning!
The side safety clearance from the head and foot ends must each be approx.
6 cm. Rule: The distances must be uniformly distributed at both ends. For nursing
home beds in special length (more than 2 m) a side guard protection in special
length has to be used.
Warning!
Under high load, the grab handle and belt can break or tear and cause injuries. Only
use a lifting pole for a maximum load of 750 N (approx. 75 kg - 165,35 lb)
Caution!
However, as two drives independent of each other are used for the height adjust-
ment for the sentida 03 model, it is necessary, depending on the adjustment cycle,
to move the patient surface to the end position (highest or lowest position) at least
once per day. This evens out potential height differences in the patient surface.
Warning!
Since the handset holder is flexible, it may not be used as assistance in standing up
or as a handle.
Warning!
Grab handle and belt consist of high-quality plastic. However, all plastics are not un-
conditionally resistant to aging, so that grab handle and belt can break or tear after
long usage. This can cause injuries. Replace grab handle and strap after 4–5 years at
the latest. The year of manufacture is imprinted on the product.
Warning!
For side rail protections with extensions, please use the available side protection
cushioning (accessory), which is an important additional safety and protection fea-
ture.
Warning!
With some model variants, there is the locking mechanism for the side rail in the „central
position“. This position does not provide sufficient protection from falling out.
