9.1 Cleaning
Danger!
The bed should be unplugged from the power mains during cleaning/desinfecting.
Handsets may only be cleaned or desinfected with cleaning cloths for computer keyboards. If
moisture has penetrated, if the unit is heavily soiled or if the buttons stick due to dirt particles,
the handset must be replaced.
The plastic and metal parts of the comfort bed should be cleaned and disinfected regularly, at
least, however, before each change of resident. The bed must not be cleaned or disinfected in
automatic washing units, nor with splash water, jet water or water spray. Only spray and wipe
disinfection is permitted.
No purifiers or cleaning agents that contain mechanically abrasive components and have the
effect of scouring agents may be used. It must be ensured that no humidity or fluid stains
remain on the real wood and veneer surfaces when in use and when being cleaned. Wood is
a natural product which has the property of absorbing moisture, and which expands when it
does so. This can cause damage to the surface sealing. For this reason, the use and storage of
wooden products under the influence of high levels of humidity must be avoided.
To clean plastic or metal parts, use all-purpose cleaners that are only slightly alkaline (suds) and
which contain tensides and phosphates. Dose the all-purpose cleaner in accordance with the
specifications of the detergent manufacturer. Linet is not responsible for damage caused by the
use of improper cleaning agents.

• Then wipe the product thoroughly with a soft cloth that has been lightly moistened with clean

• Dry the product with an absorbent, lint-free cloth.
