If the comfort bed is operated in institutions with medical supervision, the comfort
seating and legs up position may only be released by medical personnel or only “un-
der medical supervision” for safety reasons. The handset keys are released via the
safety key! A Trendelenburg position is not required due to the intended use.
Caution!
Without the release via the safety key, no individual functions for the comfort sea-
ting adjustment and for the legs up position are possible, for reasons of safety. Sin-
ce these positions may only be performed under „medical supervision“ (e.g. by a
nurse), it is essential to ensure that the safety key is not kept in the vicinity of the
resident. We recommend that the key is kept on the key ring of the nursing staff so
that it is quickly at hand if required.

All electrical functions can be faulty - unless you lock them and just release them
for the duration of the function.
Caution!
Other devices that emit electromagnetic radiation (e.g. DECT radio telephones) can
have an influence on electrical bed functions. Therefore, bed functions that are not
required must be locked for safety reasons. The use of such devices in the vicinity of
the bed should be avoided as far as possible.
Caution!
Since the system can optionally be run via battery operation, it is not enough just
to pull out the plug in case of the motors functioning incorrectly. If a malfunction
occurs, please switch off the functions via the locking function of the handset and
contact our customer service.

It is imperative to run the cable (B) over the lifting mechanism (C) (and depending
on the side) over the motor (D).
Caution!
Power supply connection cables could break when they are run over. Never run over
power supply cables or other cables.
Caution!
Before tilting the bed into the comfort seating or legs up position, you have to
unlock at least one of the two brake bars to avoid the castors sliding on the floor.

Leave the bed in a fully braked condition. For models with axle braking (sentida 03),
both axles must be braked
