Power cord connection
Connect a power cord from each PCM or PSU on the enclosure rear panel to the PDU (power distribution unit) as
shown in the illustrations below.

IMPORTANT:
When more than one PCM (2U) or PSU (5U) is fitted, all power cords must be connected to at
least two separate and independent power supplies to ensure redundancy. When the storage system is ready for
operation, ensure that each PCM or PSU power switch is set to the

Power connection concerns:

Always remove the power connections
before
you remove the PCM (2U) or PSU (5U) from the enclosure.
•
When bifurcated power cords (Y leads) are used, these cords must only be connected to a supply range of
200–240V AC.
