The system fan error LEDs help you to determine if there are any system fan errors.

Status

Description

Action

Solid off

The system fans are operating correctly.

Solid on (amber)

One or more system fans are running at low
speed or have been removed.

Check the BMC for errors and run the
diagnostic programs. See “Using a
diagnostic program” on page 212.

Note:

To identify the failing system fans,

check the status LEDs on the system board.
See “System board LEDs” on page 60.

Notes:
