8 Introduction

Container Handling Process

All Leach

container handling systems have three (3) basic operation steps:

Attaching

The first step in container handling is to attach the container to the rear loader by securing it with the
latch arms of the container attachment.

Dumping

A container handling system is used to raise the container

and empty its content into the hopper of

the rear

loader.

Releasing

When the container is empty, it is lowered to the ground, the latch arms released and the truck is
moved forward.
