106 Service & Repair

Secure a nylon sling around the cylinder and attach

to a lifting device with a lifting capacity of

500

lbs (227 kg). Operate the hoist to snug the lifting cable

without applying strain to the

cylinder.

Slowly operate the carrier panel lever inward to completely

retract the carrier cylinder piston rod.

This

will provide enough clearance to remove the cylinder.
