– LBA63 TOLL HIGHWAYS – 2019 Version

The barrier does not close

The closing command is not
reaching the PLC

Inspect the state of the PLC
inputs/outputs (see “§9.6 PLC
adjustment”)

Check the wiring of the closing
command

An opening command is active

Inspect the state of the PLC
inputs/outputs (see “§9.7 PLC
adjustment”)

Deactivate the opening
command

A safety input is activated
(safety loop, IR cell, ultrasound
detector)

Inspect the state of the PLC
inputs/outputs (see “§9.6 PLC
adjustment”)

Remove the vehicle or any
object on or in front of the
safety device.

Check the orientation of the IR
cells

If there is neither IR cell nor
ultrasound detector (both
optional), check that there is a
shunt between terminals 42
and 44 on the terminal board.
