Transaxle Installation
Refer to Figure 7-21:
1.
Assembly the bypass rod spring assembly by sliding
the spring over the release bracket to stop. Insert the
spring slide bracket into spring with the locking tab
down until secure in the release bracket slide slot.
2.
Install the bypass rod spring assembly onto the
transaxle and secure with washer and cotter pin.
Refer to Figure 7-22:
3.
With a floor jack or other lift devise, support the
transaxle and align into frame.
4.
Install the rear and front transaxle support bolts,
secure with flanged locknuts.
5.
Install the transaxle support bolts on the axle, secure
with flanged locknuts.

6.
Align and connect the park brake link assembly to
the parking lever. See “Park Brake Installation” on
page 8.
7.
Align and install the drive control rod to the pump
control bracket on the transaxle control lever.
8.
Align and install the bypass rod in frame assembly
and connect to the bypass rod spring assembly with
hair cotter pin.
