Front Axle Installation
Refer to Figure 6-10:
1.
Align and install the front end pivot on the unit frame
with the three front end pivot mount bolts. Do not
tighten bolts at this time.
2.
Align and install the round head carriage bolts in the
top of the front end pivot mounts and secure with
flanged lock nuts. Tighten the flanged lock nuts and
the three front end pivot mount bolts.
3.
Attach the deck struts to the front end pivot mount
with the strut pivot bolts.
Refer to Figure 6-11:
4.
Align and slide the front pivot axle onto the front end
pivot mount.
5.
Align and install the floor panel attachment bracket
over the front end pivot mount and axle.
6.
Secure the floor panel attachment bracket with to
back side retaining bolts. Do not tighten at this time.
7.
Secure the front axle pivot bolt in the front of the floor
panel attachment bracket and tighten the two back
side retaining bolts.

8.
Align and install front caster wheels. See “Front
Caster Wheel Installation” on page 32.
9.
Align and install the pivot lock tension spring in the
front axle and insert the pivot lock pin.
10. Secure the pivot lock pin with retaining washer and
cotter pin.
