Hooking up the Device

General Information

Caution!
Before opening the housing, make sure that the operating current 
and lines being monitored are switched off (“Power line” and 
“Comp.”)!

Important!
Obey handling instructions. Electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.

• Lead the connecting wire through the 

supplied screw fittings (

24

).

• Tighten down the screw fittings (

24

) in

such a way that (a) the wire does not move
when tugged on and (b) the wire inlet is
sealed.

• Only use wire that is 3 to 6.5 mm in

 diameter.

• In order to achieve an impermeable seal,

avoid using twisted wire.

• Seal all unused wire inlets with the  

24

supplied dummy plugs (

25

).

Safety advisory!
Ground at least one of the PE grounding clamps (11, 12) externally.
