Assembling your X31
From the box of loose 'goodies', remove the saw tilt crank (ref. item 4, fig. 4) and engage it on the
saw shaft at the upper front corner of the right side panel.
Loosen the saw tilt-locking lever (ref. item 6, fig 4) and turn the saw tilt crank clockwise to tilt the
saw to approximately 45 degrees.
Now install the mobility kit front bracket. Using the two (2) allen head cap screws provided, bolt the
front support bracket (Item c 187, fig. 5) to the front panel as shown in figs. 5 & 6. You can now
reach through the hole (item 34, fig. 6) at the top of front panel with your left hand to install the nuts
on the inside. Tighten the nuts and bolts with all the wrenches provided.
Using cloth and common paint thinner remove all the preservative grease from the machine sur-
faces.
