Having accomplished these tasks, the X31 machine should measure approximately 31 ½ inches in
width.
The infeed and outfeed tables can be reinstalled as follows:
First, install the outfeed table, and using a straight edge, align the table to the cutter head.
If the machine is still too large to fit through the door, it will be necessary to remove the saw/shaper
table from the machine.
To accomplish this, it will be necessary to remove the four (4) socket head cap screws (fig. C5,
items C15, C16, C17 & C18).
The table will come away with the complete saw arbor/motor and the shaper spindle/motor assem-
bly attached. It will, therefore, be necessary to disconnect the electrical connections to these two
motors.
WARNING
Take care to note where the wires are attached so that they can be reconnected with the least
possible difficulty.
WARNING
The table assembly can now be lifted from the machine, but it is quite heavy and you may
require some assistance.
The machine will appear as shown in fig. C6, and will be approximately 24 inches in width.
