Here you can set the localization area by entering the coordinates. You can start from
scratch or first set the area to the selected map section (see
) and
then adapt the boarders to your needs.
To set the values:
1.
Tap the desired
Boarder
button and turn the
Rotary knob
or enter a value.
2.
Press the
Rotary knob
or tap the
OK
button.
Localize automatically (Auto Localize)
When
Auto Localize
is set to On, localization is calculated and displayed in the Map view
simultaneously with performing and recording the bearings. If set to
Off
, location must be
started manually after recording the bearings (see
To switch Auto Localize on / off:
Tab the
Auto Localize
button to select the desired setting.
Start localization manually (Localize Now)
When
Auto Localize
is set to
Off
, localization can and must be started manually. For a
localization can be calculated, a record with bearings must be available.
To start localization manually:
1.
In the
Map
view
Main
menu recall the record containing the stored bearings.
2.
In the
Localization
menu tap the
Localize Now
button.
Localization is calculated and displayed as an ellipsis for the uncertainty region and a
cross that marks the potential location of the signal source.
3.
Tap the
Save Location
button to save the location results.
The location results are stored to the
Data Sets
tab in the datalogger (see
Changing general display settings (Display)
Here you can change general display settings such as showing the current position and
direction, changing the type of the bearing lines or showing the localization results.
To open the Display menu:
You selected the desired view.
1.
Tap the
Display
button.
The
Display
menu opens.
2.
You can now do the following:
Center
Tap to center your current position.
