In the
Main
menu of the
Map
view zoom the map to the planned localization area. Also
set the view window to the desired size.

In the
Config Localization
menu tap the
Set Localization Area
button.
3.
To change the boarders of the set area see
Bearing Error
Here you can define the error of the bearing in percent.
To set the value:
1.
Tap the
Bearing Error
button and turn the
Rotary knob
or enter a value.
2.
Press the
Rotary knob
or tap the
OK
button.
LOS Prop.
Here you can define the
Line Of Sight Propagation
in percent.
To set the value:
1.
Tap the
LOS Prop.
button and turn the
Rotary knob
or enter a value.
2.
Press the
Rotary knob
or tap the
OK
button.
Resolution
Here you can set the display resolution in pixel.
When using a high zoom factor (e.g. 15), 1 pixel is sufficient. When using a low zoom factor
(e.g. 9), a higher resolution would be recommended (e.g. 1/8) to show details even if the
display is enlarged for later evaluation.
To set the value:
1.
Tap the
Resolution
button and select a value from the dropdown menu.
2.
Press the
Rotary knob
or tap the
OK
button.
Velocity Squelch
When the ADF antenna is mounted on a vehicle roof the velocity of the vehicle may vary. In
order to suppress the fluctuations the squelch can be set to a certain speed.
To set the value:
1.
Tap the
Velocity Squelch
button
2.
Turn the
Rotary knob
and press the
Rotary knob
or tap the
OK
button
– or –
3.
Enter a value and tap the speed unit button.
min DF Quality
Here you can set the quality that must be reached to accept a bearing for the calculation of a
localization.
To set the value:
1.
Tap the
min DF Quality
button and turn the
Rotary knob
or select a value from the
dropdown menu. Select
Off
to accept all bearings for calculation.
2.
Press the
Rotary knob
or tap the
OK
button.
