Text Entry

Some of the keys on the Google keyboard are given below:

Key

Description

Shift:

Touch to toggle between lower case and upper case.

Caps lock:

Double-touch the lower case or upper case shift key.

Text mode:

Touch to toggle between the Alphabet keyboard and Number

& Symbol keyboard.

Voice input mode:

Touch to enter text using your voice.

Backspace:

Touch to delete a character. Touch and hold to delete multiple

characters.

Smiley:

Touch to insert a smiley. Touch and hold to view and select other

smileys.

Alternate:

Touch to toggle between the default Number & Symbol
