3.2.2 Mounting the hood unit
1. Open the filter panels.
2. Remove the grease filters with the
respective handles.
3. Hook the panel out of the hood unit by
moving the lever of the fastening pin.
4. Adjust the two screws (Vr) of the clamps
(11a) so that they are only screwed in
until the thread commences (B).
5. Hook the hood unit into the two clamps
(11a).
6. Align the hood unit with the Vr screws
from the inside of the hood.
7. Tighten the safety screws (11).
3.2.3 Connections
Connection of the extraction air model
The optional “outgoing air chimney” kit, spare part no. 877 must be bought for installing the exhaust air
models.
Connection of the recirculating air model
Charcoal filters, spare part no. 603, are required
for installing the recirculating air models. A cover,
spare part no. 527678 (item 16), and a grid, spare
part no. 536452 (item 8), should be installed for
better air circulation.
1. Fasten the filter cover at the air exit with the
four screws (12c) (2.9 x 9.5).
2. Fasten the air conduction grid (8) with two of
the screws supplied (12d) (2.9 x 9.5) at the
exit of the recycling air.
3. Activating the saturation display
For hoods with a recirculating air mode the
saturation display is activated on installation
or later. Switch off the lighting and the fan
motor. Disconnect the hood from the power supply at the intermediate two-pole switch or at the
main switch. Re-establish connection by pressing and holding the T1 button. Let go of the button;
all five LEDs light up consistently.
Within three seconds press the T1 button until the T1 and T4 LEDs begin to blink as
acknowledgement:
2 blinks of the LEDs – saturation display of the charcoal odour filters is ACTIVATED;
1 blink of the LEDs – saturation display of the charcoal odour filters is DEACTIVATED.
Press the T1 button until the T1 and T4 LEDs begin to blink as acknowledgement. Two blinks of
the saturation display LED indicates that the charcoal odour filters are ACTIVATED.
