5. Accessing the components
5.1 The individual units
1. Chimneys
For uncovering the exhaust air duct with which steam is lead from the motor to the outside. They
are telescopic chimneys and can hence be extended to a stipulated length, see dimensioned
drawing.
2. Lighting unit
For lighting up the hob with targeted halogen lamps. Operated from the control panel of the hood.
3. Control panel unit
For switching the lighting and the motor of the hood on and off, for regulating the extraction rate
and for selecting electronically-supported functions.
4. Extraction area
Comprises four plates with a sound-absorbing covering.
5. Outlet
This opening can be used for the recirculating air mode and for the extraction air mode (chimneys
are not supplied as a standard.
