Oil level
Before checking the oil level always:
•
Place the machine fully horizontal.
•
Wait a few minutes for the oil is uniformely distributed in the
gearbox, after operating or when the mowing unit is tilted
horizontally from the transport position.
Otherwise an incorrect oil level can be indicated, which may lead to
serious machine damages.
Check the oil level of all gearboxes:
•
After every 20 operating hours.
•
At the start of each season.
•
In case of excessive loss of oil.
The procedure to check the oil level is the same for all gearboxes:
> Unscrew and remove the dipstick (1), the oil level has to be
between the “min“ and “max” indication.
> Replenish if the oil level is equal to or below the “min“ indication.
Pour the oil through the dipstick opening.
»Contents« see page 63.
> Place back and thigthen the dipstick (1).
In case oil is replenished:
> Repeat the procedure as described above until the oil level is
between the “min“ and “max” indication.
Never work with the machine in case the oil level of one or more
gearboxes is above the “max“ or below the “min” indication.
This to prevent the machine from heavy material damages.
