Oscillating hitch frame
Tractor without front hitch-integrated ground pressure
compensation.
The compensation springs (1) are mounted with the lower side at the
machine and with the upper side at the tractor with chains (2).
At the tractor you can place the chains (2) in several positions.
> Decrease the compensation spring tension to increase the ground
pressure.
or
> Increase the compensation spring tension to decrease the ground
pressure.
> Check the ground pressure.

OTE
To reach a good ground compensation value, distance H should be
greater than distance A.
Tractor with front hitch-integrated ground pressure
compensation
> Lift the machine just off the ground.
> Decrease the compensation spring tension to increase the ground
pressure.
or
> Increase the compensation spring tension to decrease the ground
pressure.
> Check the ground pressure.
Floating hitch frame
The ground pressure compensation at the machine with the floating
hitch frame can be set by putting an accumulator under hydraulic
pressure:
> Make sure that the machine is set at the correct height.
»Place the mowing unit into operating position«, see page 42.
> Place the handle (1) in position A to open the hydraulic valve at the
machine.
> Open the corresponding hydraulic valve at the hydraulic valve
block at the tractor to put the accumulator under hydraulic
pressure.
> Place the handle (1) in position B to close the hydraulic valve.
> Place the corresponding hydraulic valve at the hydraulic valve
block at the tractor in floating position.
> Move handle (1) slowly towards position A until the pressure is
between 70 and 90 bar.
> The hydraulic pressure, displayed at the manometer (2), should be
between 70 and 90 bar
> Check the ground pressure
