4.2.11 Precautions during manoeuvres
When moving the machine from the transport
position to the working position and vice versa,
make sure that nobody is within the machine
pivoting area.
4.2.12 Remote controlled components
Danger of crushing and shearing can exist when
components are operated by hydraulic or pneumatic
controls. Keep away from these danger zones.
4.2.13 Hydro-pneumatic accumulator
The hydro-pneumatic accumulator contains
pressurized nitrogen and oil. There is an
asphyxiation hazard in closed areas.
Improper installation or handling can lead to serious
accidents.
- Depressurize the gaz and oil sides of the hydraulic
accumulator before opening it.
The hydro-pneumatic accumulator shell can
become hot (burning hazard).
- Wait for the hydro-pneumatic accumulator to fully
cool down prior to handling it.
- Any work (repair, maintenance,...) on hydraulic or
pneumatic connections on the hydro-pneumatic
accumulator must be made by specialist staff.
- On no account must any welding, soldering or
mechanical work (drilling, grinding, forced
opening,...) be carried out on the accumulator
body.
Danger of explosion if welding or soldering is carried
out.
Danger of bursting and loss of operating permission
if unauthorized mechanical work is carried out on the
accumulator.
- Make sure that the accumulator and its' fittings are
in good condition.
