Mower conditioner

10.4 Maintenance

10.4.1 Hydro-pneumatic accumulator

Before adjusting, maintaining or repairing
the machine, turn off ignition key and wait
until all moving parts have come to a
complete stop.

Prior to carrying out work on a circuit
comprising a hydro-pneumatic accumulator,
depressurize the circuit.

It is strictly forbidden to weld, grind or drill
onto a hydro-pneumatic accumulator.

- Regularly check the tightness of the accumulator

fixing bolts and that the hydraulic circuit is leak-free
(a small oil leak can change settings).

Replace the hydro-pneumatic accumulator
every 10 years.

Check hydro-pneumatic accumulator:

- Conform with the regulations of the country

regarding pressurized equipment.

(Hydro-pneumatic accumulator of a capacity
exceeding or equalling 1 L (0.26 US gal)).
