Mower conditioner
Problem
Not possible to place the machine in "headland
turn" position.
The set ground pressure varies and decreases
during the following handling operations:
• Setting from headland turn into work position
and vice versa.
Cause
Air in the hydraulic circuit.
The hydraulic circuit had not been
pressurized correctly before attempting to
place the machine in headland turn
position.
Remedy
Reset of the lift pump
Stage 1:
- Place the machine in working position.

Place double acting valve controlling the
machine locking/unlocking in floating position.
- Connect hydraulic hose (1) of the floatation
system to a single acting valve.
Stage 2:
- Open the valve using 18 box spanner supplied
with the machine.
- Fully lift tractor lift linkage.

(a): Operate tractor single acting valve to
increase the pressure in the circuit.
- (b): Inflate the hydraulic circuit to 180 - 200 bar
(2610 - 2900 psi).
- (c): Operate the single acting valve to reduce the
pressure to 0 bar.
- To bleed the air out of the circuit, repeat
procedure (a-b-c) 3 times.
