Sensors
In this section is it possible to add new wireless Sensors or modify the configuration of those which are
already part of the System. The programmable parameters for each Sensor are the following:
Description: name associated to the Device.
Serial Number: on each wireless Device you will find a serial number which can be used to identify it.
Two Devices of the same type will never have the same serial number.
Partition: the partition to which the sensors is associated.
Camera: is the camera associated to the Sensor, enabled in case of Alarm.
Sensor Type: select the type of KSENIA wireless sensor Ksenia to be linked: poli, nanus, unum, velum,
nebula. According to the type of selected Sensor additional options can be enabled.
• Option for poli Magnetic Contact.
Magnetic Contact: it allows to enable or disable the signals in the Panel related to closing and
opening of the Contact. The programmable values are:
Not Used: the signals coming from the magnetic contact closing and opening are disabled.
Normally Closed: the magnetic contact is enabled and considered in stand-by when closed.
• Auxiliary Input 1:
Description IN1: Description that will be used to indicate this entity inside the system.
Configuration Auxiliary input 1. according to what has been wired to the input, it is possible to select
the signal processing mode
Non Used: input disabled.
Normally Closed: for input linked to a NC device (e.g. magnetic contact, motion detector not
balanced, ect.)
Normally Open: for input linked to a NO device (e.g. push button).
Low sensitivity Roller Blind: for input linked to Shutter Detector. Low Sensitivity in detection.
(7 pulses in 180 seconds).
High sensitivity Roller Blind: for input linked to Shutter Detector. High Sensitivity detection.
(4 pulses in 180 seconds).
Low sensitivity Inertial: for input linked to Break Detector. Low Sensitivity in detection.
(7 pulses in 30 seconds).
High sensitivity Inertial: for input linked to Break Detector: High Sensitivity in detection.
(4 pulses in 30 seconds).
Auxiliary Input 2: Configuration Auxiliary input 1: see above.
• Options for Motion Detector unum wls, unum wls PI and velum.
Infrared: sensitivity of sensor detector. The possible options are:
PIR High Sensitivity: High sensitivity in detection.
PIR Low Sensitivity: Low sensitivity in detection.
Delayed: enable this function if you want that this sensor do not generate Alarms during the Entry/Exit
Time.
Auto-bypassable: the Sensor will be automatically bypassed if during arming results violated. The Sen-
sor bypassing during the arming phase is totally transparent to the User and there will be no notifica-
tion to the Panel whatsoever, but it will be registered on the Event Log.
The auto-bypass function does not exclude any tamper.
The Sensor is automatically re-included by the next disarming.
Chime: if this option will be selected, when the Sensor is violated with Partitions armed, it generates a
voice message on the local Keypad (or remote if the KP is linked to the BUS) with Sensor Identification.
If the voice option is disabled, then it generates bips of 5 seconds each.
Always Active: if this option will be selected, when the Sensor is violated an Alarm will be generated
regardless the arming of the relevant Partition.
