Maintenance

8.9.2 Shortening the front floor conveyor

chain

If the chain tensioning lever is in Position “b”, the roller
chain must be shortened as described above.

The chain tensioning lever must be in Position “a” after
the roller chain has been shortened.

To shorten the chain (1) a rail (2) is detached as follows.

•

Remove the wire pins (1) on both sides.

•

Detach the rail (2).

•

Remove two chain links (3).

•

Connect the roller chain with a chain-connect link.
