Maintenance

8.2 Adjusting the automatic floor

conveyor shut-off

When the tailgate is opened the claw coupling (2) on the
main gears (3) is activated via the bracing cable (1) and
the roll conveyors are switched off.

The thrust of the actuating cable springs (5) can be
adjusted by means of the nuts (4). When the tailgate is
closed, the distance should equal b = approx. 250 mm.

For a proper function of claw coupling (3) there must be a
distance of a = approx. 5 mm between both coupling
sections when the tailgate is opened and the coupling is
disengaged.

Adjust as follows:

•

With the tailgate opened, dimension (a) can be
increased by slacking nut (6). Tighten nut (6) until a =
5 mm.

8.2.1 Adjusting the moment at which the

floor conveyor is switched off

The moment at which the floor conveyor is switched off,
is preadjusted at the factory, but can be varied by
moving limit stop (1) in the slotted hole, if particular
operating conditions should require it.

To do this:

•

Release countersunk head screws (2).

•

Move limit stop (1) in the slotted hole until the desired
moment is reached.

Position I: the floor conveyor is switched off at a
later moment.
Position II: the floor conveyor is switched off at an
earlier moment.
