Notes on implementation
The individual parts of the ultrasonic nebulizer can be cleaned and disinfected according to the information in the
table below. Please observe the following information to do this:
-
The parts must be cleaned and dried before every disinfection.
-
Dirt particles can be encapsulated and the device parts will therefore not be sterile after disinfection. This is
why all device parts must be thoroughly cleaned and persistent soiling removed with a cloth and cleaning
agent.
-
Please observe the instructions of the manufacturer and the hygiene expert before using disinfectants.
Warning, risk of injury!
Disinfectants can contain substances that are harmful to health and cause injuries when they come into
contact with skin or eyes. Protect your skin and eyes and comply with the hygiene rules when working
with disinfectants.
Caution, material changes!
Almost all components of the ultrasonic nebulizer are made of plastics. Solvents, some disinfectants and
cleaning agents can corrode plastics or cause stress cracks. Do not use agents containing hydrocarbons or
alcohol to clean the surfaces.
Caution, functional inspection!
The functionality of the device parts must be checked after every cleaning or disinfection (7.1 Functional
test).
Note
If wrapping cloths that are not color fast are used, this can discolor the plastic parts.
Note
After every cleaning, disinfection and complete drying, check the rubber seal of the quartz module
thoroughly for potential damages.
