Set Up Overview
Wireless Teacher Workstation:
This is the most common way to setup the teacher station. This setup provides the opportunity to use both the Mac/PC and
tablet applications. When utilizing the tablet application, you can connect teacher headphones to the tablet’s headphone
jack OR the Teacher Unit for audio playback. See Fig. 11 for a detailed diagram.
**Be sure to select your wireless router in the Wi-Fi settings of your device!
1. Front:
a.
Audio device (iPod, laptop, etc.) to Teacher Unit Aux In 1.
b.
Headphones to headphone input (for use when utilizing the Mac/PC application) or tablet head
phone jack (for use when utilizing the tablet application).
2. Back:
a.
AC power adapter to power input.
b.
Keyboard audio output to Instrument In.
c.
Computer audio interface output to Aux In 2.
d.
Room Out to active speakers (or power amp if using passive speakers).
e.
Record out to computer audio interface input 1/2 (stereo).
f.
CAT5 cables connecting each Student Interface to Teacher Unit.
g.
CAT5 cable from one of the network jacks on the Teacher Unit to a LAN port on the wireless router.
h.
Optional: CAT5 cable from internet connection to internet input on wireless router. Only required
for
internet
connectivity.
i.
Optional: Guitar output to computer audio interface input.
