Selecting a safe place to install the awning
[\] Do not install the awning in a very high or windy place as it may fall and injure people.
[\] Do not use the awning in places subject to shocks or jolts.
[!] The installation can be performed by a layperson if they follow the instructions correctly. If you
encounter problems during the installation, please consult a qualified professional for assistance.
[!] Please use all screws and nuts for installation, as it is very dangerous if the awning is not pro-
perly mounted.
[!] Please watch out for your fingers during installation.
[\] The awning is not suitable for places where it gets hot, such as a wall near an oven.
[\] Do not hang anything on the frame or arms as the awning may fall down and cause personal
injury.
Electrical safety
[!] Before connecting the device to the power supply, check that the supply voltage and the current
correspond to the information on the device label.

Danger of electric shock!
Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. In the event of a mal-
function, repairs must only be carried out by qualified professionals.
[!] In the event of damage, the power cable must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer
service or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid dangers.
[!] During inspections or maintenance work on the electrical parts, the awning must be completely
disconnected from the power supply.
Use
[\] The product must not be modified in any way!
[\] Do not use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could pose a
safety risk to the user and damage the device. Use only original parts and accessories.
[\] Do not use the product in unfavorable weather conditions. The awning must be retracted when
wind speeds exceed level 4 on the Beaufort scale.
[\] Never use the product on rainy days.
[\] Using the awning in freezing conditions may cause damage.
[!] Ensure there is sufficient space around the awning when extending or retracting it.
[\] Do not barbecue below the awning or light a fire near the awning.
[\] Check the awning every 3 months to ensure that all fastenings are tight and the product is
undamaged.
[!] Check the installation periodically for imbalance, signs of wear and tear and damage to cables
and springs. Do not use if repair or adjustment is necessary.
[\] Do not use the product if it is damaged! If the awning is damaged, disconnect the device from
the power supply and contact your supplier.
[!] Care should be taken when manually extending the awning, as it can fall quickly if springs are
weak or damaged.
[!] Disconnect the awning from the power supply when carrying out maintenance work (such as
cleaning windows) in its vicinity.
