4.2 Copy Screen 4
6 Density adjustment keys Pressed to adjust the copy density.
7 [Auto Zoom] Pressed to use the Auto Zoom function. The key is
highlighted when Auto Zoom is on.
8 [Zoom] Pressed to display the Zoom Screen which allows you
to specify the magnification ratio of copied image.
Among the functions provided on the Zoom Screen,
the vertical/horizontal zoom, two preset zooms, and
full-size copying can be specified using the keys dis-
played below.
9 [RECALL] tab Pressed to retrieve the scanned data.
10 Zoom setting keys Press [-]/[+] to specify the vertical/horizontal zoom ra-
tio. Press [x1.0] to select 1.000 magnification ratio.
Press one of the keys with the preset ratios to select
the desired ratio.
11 [COPY] tab Pressed to display the Copy Screen and perform copy
operations.
12 Set Number indicator Indicates the print quantity entered from the control
panel keypad .
13 Simplex/Duplex Select the simplex/duplex copy mode (1-1, 1-2, 2-1,
or 2-2).
14 [SCAN] tab Pressed to display the screen for the scan operations.

15 [Application] Pressed to display the Application Screen which al-
lows you to select various application functions. Up to
6 icons are displayed under [Application] to indicate
the current selection of application functions. Under
the icon display, you can display up to 4 shortcut keys
for frequently-used application functions.
16 [STORE] tab Pressed to specify a location to store scanned data.

17 [Output Setting] Pressed to display the Output Setting Screen and
specify output functions. Specified output settings
are displayed as icons in the area under [Output Set-
ting].
Under the icon display, you can display up to 4 short-
cut keys for frequently-used output settings.
18 [ (Info. Sound/Voice)] Pressed to turn on/off all information sounds or voic-
es.
19 [ Help] Pressed to display the help message which provides
information on the screen currently displayed. De-
pending on a screen, [
] may be grayed out to show
inactivity.
When the Machine Screen is selected, pressed to
show the following maintenance procedures: replen-
ishing toner, paper, staples and glue pellets; replacing
a waste toner box; refilling the water tank; and dispos-
ing stapler scrap, punch scrap and trim scrap.
20 Output information indicator Indicates the print count, set count, and job number of
the current job while printing.
21 Machine management information indi-
cator Indicates the original count of the previous job,
number of reserved jobs, remaining amount of mem-
ory, and remaining HDD capacity.
22 Machine status indicator/right Displays [Security], [Supply], [PM Call], [Collect], [Mo-
dem Err], [Drum/Dev.], [Fusing Web], [Dark Tone], [Ro-
tation], and [Tandem M (S)]. Up to 5 indicators can be
displayed in large size; when 6 or more indicators are
required, large icons will substitute up to 4th indica-
tors, and small icons will be used from the 5th.
23 [Image Rotation OFF] Pressed to activate/deactivate the Image Rotation
function.
