5.2 Description
TopVac
The TopVac vacuum packaging machines are manufactured according to KOMET
proved and tested high quality standards and are equipped with an electrical control
board, a high speed vacuum pump and a vacuum-stop function.
TopVac are chamber machines, with which vacuum-sealed, air-tight packages can be
manufactured. Products, which would be subject to unwanted change in the normal
atmosphere, are protected by means of vacuum packaging.
The filled vacuum bag is placed in the chamber with the opening flat on to the sealing
pad.
The vacuum and sealing temperature set-ups are done on the control board. The
vacuum and sealing (single sealing wire) processes are automatic and can be visually
controlled through the transparent cover window.
The vacuum pump creates low pressure in the chamber. When the set vacuum has
been reached, the bag is sealed.
The machines provide automatic cover opening upon completion of the packaging
procedure.
To remove moisture from the pump a service-program can be used. In approx. 30
minutes it will warm up the pump and remove the condensed water from the oil.
