WARNING
• Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn in-
jury. Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
• When removing the oil filler cap, the oil may spurt out. Turn it slowly to release the internal pres-
sure, then remove it carefully.
1.
Set the machine in the posture shown in the figure.
If the machine is not set as shown in the figure, set it ac-
cording to the following procedure.
1) Start the engine, and run it at low speed.
2) Retract the cylinder rod for arm and bucket to the end.
3) Lower the boom and lower the bucket tooth to the
ground.
4) Stop the engine.
2.
Turn the starting switch to ON position within 15 seconds
after stopping the engine, and move each control lever (for
work equipment and travel) to the full stroke in all directions.
The internal pressure is released by this operation.
3.
Stop the engine.
4.
Oil level is correct if it is within the range specified with the
oil temperature when checking it with the oil level gauge
(G) which is on rear side of the hydraulic tank. Add oil if it
is insufficient.
Check that the hydraulic oil level is correct according to the
following.
• Hydraulic oil level is within the correct level when it is
within the blue range of gauge label (a) in the right fig-
ure while the hydraulic oil temperature is normal tem-
perature (15 to 30 °C).
• Hydraulic oil level is within the correct level when it is
within the red range of gauge label (b) in the right fig-
ure while the hydraulic oil temperature is high temper-
ature (50 to 80 °C).
