1. Assemble the current-carrying unit and the

mechanical unit. Make sure that the shaft from the
mechanical unit goes through both main shaft
levers. See Figure 7-7.

On 400-amp units, the current-carrying unit is
made up of separate sections. Make sure that the
sections

are

flush

across

the

front

when

reassembling.
