Run engine at a higher load than 1/3 of its nominal power until temperature reaches steady

state. All parameters must remain within expected range (no alarm).

Monitor the running engine and the generator set display.

Record and report any defect found on the engine (for example: leak, unusual noise, unusual

vibration, unusual exhaust gas color).

Record and report any anomaly found on generator set display (for example: faulty param‐

eter).

Make sure that authorized service personnel correct the defect.
