B. Electrically tripped cameras. You do not need to wake the camera
back. Instead, after winding the film winder (if necessary), press
and hold the shutter release cable button for one-quarter second
or more. A picture will be recorded.
NOTES: The camera back cannot take exposures of more than three
seconds.
If the shutter release plunger is
partially depressed for more than three
seconds, the camera back will not capture an image.
Frames Remaining Indicator and Frame
Counter
Two numbering systems provide different information about pictures you
take.
Frames Remaining
Each time you take a picture, the number on the camera back LCD goes
down by one indicating the number of additional pictures that can be
stored on the PCMCIA card currently in the camera back. If the card is
filled, you can replace it with another (as described in chapters 4,
Macintosh; and 5, PC) and continue shooting.
