Assembling WAGO plugs
1. Insert the rounded end of the lever latch into the square opening of
the selected connector of the plug.
2. Press the lever down as indicated by the arrow in
Fehler!

3. Insert the non-insulated end of the cable into the opening under the
lever.
4. Release the lever and remove the lever latch from the plug.
The cable is now firmly anchored in the plug.

RS-232 Interface
The RS 232 serial interface on the rear side of the device is only used to
view or change the Ethernet interface settings of the Smartline PDA
Detector 2800. The settings can be viewed or changed using a terminal
program (settings: 57600,8,N,1). Detector and PC are connected via a
RS 232 female/female cable. For details see SOP 1.

Ethernet (LAN) Interface
The Ethernet (LAN) interface on the rear side of the device enables
digital data transfer between the Smartline PDA Detector 2800 and a PC
equipped with e.g. KNAUER ChromGate
or EuroChrom
Software (from
Version 3.1 / 3.05). Detector and PC are connected either directly using
the (yellow/grey) cross linked Ethernet patch cable or via an Ethernet
switch or hub using the (blue) standard Ethernet patch cable (both
supplied with the detector) .
