In the case that a Smartline RI Detector should also be arranged in the
tower, the RI detector should be installed below the PDA detector due to
it’s higher sensitivity to temperature.

Function of Foil Key and LEDs
The keypad

consists of a standby key with LED and five separate LEDs.
Standby key
Pressing the standby key for more than two seconds switches the
instrument off (only the standby electronics will still be working). In
standby mode the red LED integrated into the standby key is on. To
switch the instrument on again the standby key has to be pressed for
more than one second. Then the instrument powers up again and the red
LED is off.
Power LED
The Power LED lights when the instrument is switched on (main power
switch or standby key if switched off with standby key).
Busy LED
The Busy LED begins to light at low intensity when the connection
between detector and PC is established (e.g. when a method is started ).
The BUSY LED lights at high intensity when data is tranfered by the
detector.
Error LED
The Error LED lights when the instrument is switched on (main power
switch or standby key if switched off with standby key) and is switched of
as soon as a connection between detector and PC is established (e.g.
when a method is started). The Error LED lights up again when an
internal error occurred.
UV LED
The UV LED begins to light about 30 seconds after the connection
between detector and PC is established (e.g. when a method is started).
VIS LED
If the detector is equipped with a halogen lamp the VIS LED begins to
light when the connection between detector and PC is established (e.g.
when a method is started).
