5. Determine the positions from the three prominent maxima (about
361 nm, 446 nm, 536 nm). The located positions must
correspond to the respective specifications in the manufacturer’s
filter test certificate. The allowable tolerance is
±
1 nm.

In case the validation fails repeatedly, the instrument should be
recalibrated.
Changing the Lamp
Remove the power plug before opening. Please let the lamp cool
down for at least 15 minutes after switching it off
.
Do not touch the glass of the lamp. If you should touch it acciden-
tally, clean it thoroughly with a lint free cloth and isopropanol
.

Changing the Deuterium Lamp
1. Remove the detector’s lamp replacement cover (on the right side).
2. Unplug the deuterium lamp, refer to Fig. 36.
3. Unscrew the two screws (1) of the deuterium lamp (2).
4. Remove the lamp including it’s cables from the instrument.
5. Insert the new lamp assuring that it is correctly seated in the guiding
slot.
