INSTALLATION

WARNING
Do not allow your fingers to touch the terminals of the plug when installing or
removing plug from outlet.

The plug must be plugged into a matching outlet that is properly installed and grounded
in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. Do not modify the plug in any way. If it
does not fit into outlet, call a qualified electrician and have a proper outlet installed.

Inspect tool cord periodically, and if it is damaged, have it repaired at an authorized sen/
ice facility.
→
The green (or green and yellow) conductor in the cord is the grounding wire. If repair is
necessaw. do not connect the green (or green and yellow) wire to a live terminal.
EXTENSION CORDS
→
The use of any extension cord will cause some drop in voltage and loss of power.
→
Wires of extension cord must be of sufficient size to carw the current and maintain ade-
quate voltage.
→
Always immediately replace any extension cord that is worn, out or damaged in any way.
VOLTAGE AND CIRCUIT PROTECTION
This compressor can be operated on a 15»amp circuit if the following
conditions are met:

Current supply though the branch circuit is 15 amps
→
The circuit is not being used to supply power for any other electrical needs (lights, applian-
ces, etc.).
→
Extension cords comply with specifications.
→
The circuit has a 20-amp circuit breaker or a 20-amp time-delay fuse.
NOTE:
If the compressor is connected to a circuit protected by, fuses,
use only time-delay fuses marked „D.“
