OPERATION
cont.
AFTER EACH USE OF THE COMPRESSOR
→
Set the Auto / Off switch to the OFF position.
→
Turn the regulator counterclockwise to set the outlet pressure to zero.
→
Remove any attached air tools or accessories.
→
Open the regulator and allow the air to slowly bleed from the tank. Close the regulator
when tank pressure is approximately 1.5 bar.
→
Drain water from air tank.
WARNING
Water will condense in the airtank. If not drained, water will corrode and
weaken the air tank causing a risk of air tank rupture.
NOTE:
If drain valve is plugged, release all air pressure. The valve can then be removed, clea-
ned and then be reinstalled.
→
After the water has been drained, close the drain valve.
The air compressor can now be stored.
MAINTENANCE
CHANGING THE OIL
→
Remove oil filling plug.
→
Drain oil by removing bolt on bottom of motor using 10 mm wrench.
→
Secure bolt tightly and add 250 cc SAE 30 non-detergent compressor oil.
→
Secure breather set on motor.
INSPECTING AND REPLACING THE AIR FILTER
(See Fig. on page 40)
WARNING
DO NOT touch with bare hands, the surface is hot and there is a risk of burns.
The compressor heads are exposed when filter cover is removed. ALWAYS allow compressor to
cool before servicing. Keep the air filter clean at all times. Do not operate the compressor with
the air filter removed.
A dirty air filter will not allow the compressor to operate at full, capacity. Before you use the
compressor, check the air filter to be sure it is clean.
