Replacing the Control Electronics 

 

Danger of serious injury from electric shock! 

There is the risk of coming into contact with live cables in the opened light head. 

•

 

Turn off the power supply on site and secure it against reactivation.

 

 

 

Risk of property damage from electrostatic discharges (ESD)! 

Electronic components in the light can be destroyed by ESD! 

•

 

Replace electronic components only with sufficient ESD protection. 

 

•

 

Open the light housing, see section 8.3.1 “Opening the Light Housing”, page 64. 

•

 

Remove all Light Engine boards, see section 8.3.3 “Replacing the Light Engine Board”, page 67. 

•

 

Disconnect all plug connections on the control electronics. 

 

 

•

 

Remove the 6 fixing screws of the control electronics board. 

•

 

Lift the control electronics out of the light casing. 

•

 

Install the new control electronics using 6 screws and a tightening torque of 0.4 Nm. 

•

 

Restore all connections.
