Troubleshooting
Malfunction
Cause/corrective action
The light cannot be turned on
Check the power supply of the lights on the tracking arm/contact block. If necessary, check
the internal fuse of the power module.
Check power supply at D-Sub using marLED® X measuring adapter board D-Sub
(REF 08-670-49-04). If necessary, check the internal fuse on the control electronics, see
section 10.1.1 “Design including Microfuses”, page 86.
The LED of the control panel foil is
dark, even though the device is
energized
The sensoGrip is not inserted correctly.
Remove the sensoGrip and re-install it correctly.
The micro-switch is defective or has no contact.
Replace the defective micro-switch in the sensoGrip.
System subscriber does not
function properly
2 or more subscribers may have identical mLB addresses.
Correctly set the addresses on DIP switch on the control electronics, see section 5.3.1 “DIP
Switches for mLB Address and Terminating Resistor”, page 37.
Functions or display of the control
panel foil faulty
Check the plug connection of the foil keyboard to the control electronics, see
section 10.2.1 “Control Panel Foil Measuring Points”, page 89.
No function on the
marTouch® Pro
The wall control unit is supplied by the light at the lowest mounting position. If it is de-
energized, the control panels will be de-energized as well.
Check the power supply of the light at the lowest mounting position. If necessary, check
the internal fuse of the power module.
No operation (e.g. brightness) is
possible on the marTouch® Pro
De-energize the light (reset).
Check the mLB to the external marTouch® Pro (internal resistance 40–150
Ω).
Error is displayed on
marTouch® Pro
Error codes can be displayed on the marTouch® Pro at service level.
This requires an access pin.
marTouch® Pro controls the
wrong light
Adapt the addressing of the lights according to the color coding, see section 5.3.1 “DIP
Switches for mLB Address and Terminating Resistor”, page 37.
Restart of the light system required.
