Checking the bolted connections of the ceiling tube 

 

 

1  Insulating rings 

2  Washers 

3  Spring lock washer 

4  M12 nuts 

 

 

 

•

 

Check all ceiling-tube bolts for presence of insulating rings (1), washers (2) and spring lock 
washers (3). 

•

 

Check for secure fit of all M12 locking nuts using a torque wrench set to 45 Nm. 

 

•

 

Replace missing parts. 

 

2.  Checking potential equalization/protective conductor resistance 
Tool required

 

Measuring instrument (e.g. Bender Unimet 800 ST) 

 

 

•

 

The no-load voltage shall not exceed 24 V but must not lie below 4 V, either! 

•

 

Be sure to use a suitable testing instrument for the measurement: 
–

 

No-load voltage: max. 24 V 

–

 

Test current: minimum 200 mA at 500 

mΩ

 

•

 

If direct current is used as testing current, the measurement must be performed 2 times, using both 
polarities.
