damper is open; when horizontal the

damper is closed.

internal smoke damper

Turning this lever clockwise closes the

smoke damper and increases oven

efficiency; turning it anticlockwise opens

the smoke damper, extracting the smoke

directly to the flue. (heating cooker only)
