WLAN Measurement Concepts
To improve repeatability, the user can increase either the number of averages
or the number of data points with longer time record length. The channel
power graph is shown in the graph window, while the absolute channel power
in dBm and the peak power spectral density in dBm/MHz are shown in the text
window.

Occupied Bandwidth Measurement Concepts
Purpose
Occupied bandwidth measurements express the bandwidth occupied by a
given percentage of the total mean power of a signal. This percentage is
typically 99%.
Measurement Method
The Occupied Bandwidth measurement is performed in two calculation stages.
First, the instrument uses Integration Bandwidth (IBW) method to capture the
data and integrate the total power within the measurement frequency span for
its 100% of power. Then, the frequencies of 0.5% of the total power are
calculated to get 99.0% bandwidth.
