Keysight U8001A/U8002A User’s and Service Guide

Obtain the maximum peak-to-peak voltage measurement as indicated in the

scope. Divide this value by 10 to get the CV peak-to-peak noise measurement.

The result should not exceed 12 mV

Configure the RMS voltmeter as below:
– Set high pass filter to 10 Hz
– AC coupling

Disconnect the oscilloscope and connect an RMS voltmeter in its place. Do

not disconnect the 50

termination. Divide the reading of the RMS voltmeter

by 10. The result should not exceed the RMS limits of 1 mV
