Handling micro plates

 

Remove the appropriate plate holder from 
the carrier body for loading and unloading 
micro plates in the Highplate

® 

Rotor 

7500 6444. 

Before loading, ensure that the rubber bottom is placed 
in the cut-outs of the bottom of the plate holder. Deep-
well plates can also be inserted directly to the carrier 
without plate holder.  

Make sure the rotor is balanced!  

The plate carriers are inserted as shown in the illustra-
tion below.

In case longer tubes shall be centrifuged 
precluding the complete locking of the rotor 
cover, it is allowed to operate the  rotor 
without cover up to a maximum speed of 
4000 rpm.  

 

Above 4000 rpm the rotor is not 
allowed to be operated without 
cover in any case. Otherwise the 
rotor could be destroyed.
