8.1 - Erase the smart card
This option allows the recording of a number of credits of use and erase all the previous measurement data present in the
card. This is the option to choose when recycling a card.
Proceed as follows:

Select the smart card adjustments.
SMART CARD:

Select the card erase. The unit asks for the number of credits to set in
the card.
INDICATE CREDIT
FOR THE CARD: 20

Indicate the credit and press ENTER. The maximum value for
credits is 99. The default value in the display will be 20. (In this
example a credit of 35 measurements is set).
INDICATE CREDIT
FOR THE CARD: 35
Any card inserted from this point will be erased and will have the
indicated credit for use.

INSERT CARDS OR
PRESS A KEY TO END
ENTER
When pressing ENTER or any other key the program goes back to
option 1 of the smart card sub-menu.

8.2 - Programming the credit in the smart card.
This option is very similar to the previous one, but
does NOT erase the measuring data present in the card
. This is the
option to choose when a user wants to continue using his card but is out of credit.
Proceed as follows:
