1.2 - Continuous height quick measurement
This action allows you to make different measurements of height with the quick frequency of measurement, and show them
in the display. It also allows you to move the object and verify different heights.
Proceed as follows:
Key
Function to execute or select
Terminal Display
'Z' or 'ESC' Goes to option 0 of the main menu.
MAIN MENU:
0-SYSTEM ADJUSTMENTS
SPACE=NEXT
ENTER=SELECT

and the program goes back to option 2 of the height system sub-
menu.

1.3 - Indication of the inner height of the unit
The average inner height of the unit (distance from the height sensor to the platform) is of 210cm. Due to the moulding of
the body, this value can vary, and it is set when the unit is manufactured, so that it will be automatically stored in the
memory when making a memory reset. This adjustment will only be necessary if for any reason the inner height of the unit
needs to be changed.
During the autotest process, the unit makes an autozero of the height system. The autozero and height measuring systems
are based on a known distance which is the inner height of the unit. Therefore, if this distance is different from the value
stored in the memory, there will be a constant calculation error which will lead to a wrong result of the measurement. The
taller is the user, the greater this error will be.
Let's suppose that we have measured an inner height of 210 cm on a unit set to 208 cm. Here are the steps to follow to
indicate a new inner height:
Key
Function to execute or select
Terminal Display
'Z' or 'ESC' Goes to option 0 of the main menu.
MAIN MENU:
0-SYSTEM ADJUSTMENTS
SPACE=NEXT
ENTER=SELECT
1
Select the height system adjustments
SUB-MENU HEIGHT:
1.0-RESET
SPACE=NEXT
ENTER=SELECT
3
Option 3 allows the modification of the inner height of the unit.
The display shows the height (in cm) that is currently set in the
memory. Now you can indicate the new height.
INDICATE THE INNER HEIGHT
AND PRESS THE ENTER KEY:
208
210
Indicate the new inner height with the numeric keys (210 in this
case)
INDICATE THE INNER HEIGHT
AND PRESS THE ENTER KEY:
210
ENTER
When pressing ENTER the new value is saved and the program
goes back to option 3 of the height adjustment sub-menu.
SUB-MENU HEIGHT:
1.3-MACHINE HEIGHT
SPACE=NEXT
ENTER=SELECT
